If you have an online account you are able to vote. Voting is a new function in Anno 2070. You can vote in the senate and in the world council.

SenateEdit

In the senate you can vote for Rufus Thorne, Yana Rodriguez or Professor Dr. Salman Devi. On each round, the senate is confronted with a problem. Each candidate has a different way to solve that problem. If the vote is finished, the new "game rules" applies and all online players get a small bonus and a small loss.

World CouncilEdit

You can vote for Skylar Banes, Seamus Green or F.A.T.H.E.R. to elect one of them as president of the World Council.

When connecting to the World Council from your ark in continuous games, you can buy temporary sector wide upgrades, which are different for each World Council President. The upgrades are the same with every election. To activate the upgrades you need to trade in licenses. The more powerful the temporary upgrade, the more licenses they cost.
