Can be constructed in as small as 2 Power Stations with 2 Rotary Excavators. Both run at 100%. Occupies a 8x15 area.
Using a single depot can construct a Power Station network containing 20 Coal Power Stations all running at 100%. Uses almost the entire Depot radius.
Power:20 Power Stations x 60 = 1200 (units) of power
Final Layout: Bounding Box = 36x36 = 1296 Tiles
Minimum Area = 1120 Tiles
Space Efficiency = 86% 

PlasticsEdit
This is a special money making build which uses 6 Control Modules to get to 250% production efficiency. This layout is designed to be build in 3 phases. At normal efficiency (100%), you'll build the normal 12 Oil Drillers, 4 Oil Refineries, 4 Plastics Factories. Once you reach engineers/lab assistants, you'll unlock the 4th item slot which will allow you to put in 4 Control Modules for 200% production efficiency. This is the first point where you'll use Control Modules to boost production and also the point where you'll fill in the extra Oil Refineries and Plastics Factories for 200%. The next 2 warehouse slot opens up at at 1250 Geniuses for the maximum 250%. It will take a while to reach there and this is when you'll finish the whole build. Fully completed, 24 Plastics Factories will produce 120 plastics per minute. Thorne buys them at 89 credits each for a total of 10,680 credits per minute. The maintenance cost for the entire layout is 780 credits per min, giving a net of close to 10k profit per minutes. 
Special 250% efficiency layout! This layout uses 6 Control Modules to get to 250% production efficiency on the island. You'll need the Deep Ocean DLC in order to utilize this layout. 12 Oil Drillers, 10 Oil Refineries, 24 Plastics Factories Bounding Box = 44x26 = 1144 Tiles Minimum Area = 984 Tiles Space Efficiency = 86% Note: There's enough oil production for 1 more Plastics Factories/Carbon Factory/Fuel Factory. Although it's probably better to leave a slight overflow of oil in case you need to inject more crude oil into the island.
