Hi everybody! Here we are going to design the second Add-On for Anno 2070. Please come with ideas. Looking for inspiration? Check Player Ideas.

We could make a mix of the expansions created before, like "Humanity is Ending while everybody was in the Tropoposphere, in the Underground or on the Moon with a Licence to Kill; War was Changing, Global Trust was in a Renaissance and Shal5 had also an idea".

This Add-On can also be a chance to set some (in our opinion) "great mistakes" in the game by the developers right. We can create new World Events, new Single Missions, and we will (hopefully) also add a complete new Campaign (I want at least 20 missions!! :) ). This is our world, but please don't leave the concept of Anno 2070. As I said on my blog post, aliens landing on earth might sound fun, but it is not very relevant.

I think it could be cool if the campaign had different endings, which means you'll take choices through the story(like, choosing which faction to support), and you get an ending based on the choices

I think that we would include a great part of our histories and other features. We must create a Campaign envolving all our roleplayer profiles, but the different endings would be difficult. We can make more than one end, like two or three. I think that more than that isn't a feature of the Anno series. 

And, like Rayo said, the Campaign has to be big! We would explain each character and the new features in the Campaign. I think that each one would make a part of the campaign, and after we would make a voting, saying what we should remove and modify. With that, we can make a Campaign with different ideas, places, and characters.

To make 20 missions, we have to do at least five Chapters. First we can ask, to all the WikiaUsers, who want to join in this new Add-On. So, in the first week, these participants have time to write the first Part (Chapter). After this week, each one should post your history here and we vote which one is better, or if we can mix the best histories.

And the cicle will continue. Each two weeks we will have one Chapter ready to make the new Add-On. And we should ask too, to the WikiaUsers, who want to write the Campaign, who wants to create new features, who wants to create new characters, etc.

I think this is a very democratic way to do the new Add-On, and we will have a lot of histories and ideas.

Shouldn't we first know what new features have to be introduced in the campaign before we start creating the story? For example, if we decide to add a third layer, that third layer has to be introduced in the campaign etc. --RayoOyar (talk) 16:02, December 1, 2012 (UTC)

OK. What new stuff do we introduce? Vulcanos? Player-made ice plateaus? The ability to build a space station? An additional population class / faction? Sabotaging (I like that one :))? New disasters? New vehicles? Terrestrial war? Carrying goods in planes (S.A.A.T. won't like that)? ...? ...?

    • Volcano: is a powerful geothermal energy source, but is able to erupt
    • Hurricane: a giant thunderstorm (see Anno 1404), but then over the whole sector
    • Solar eclipse: causes the minimap and/or strategic map to cease working
    • Climate bound disasters: droughts, heat waves, wildfires, floods (with too rain, the river in one island could flood, the city could have an accumulation of water - if it is big - and a Hydroelectric Dam could collapse), avalanches, seismic activities (earthquakes), landslides, dust storms and massive winds (not a tornado)
    • Seasons could help / disturb some disasters
  • A new campaign
    • You (a.k.a. the player) are peacefully building a settlement (I don't know yet for what reason, in this part some of the new functions could be explained), with Léo Zanchi and "an aggressive eco player" also in the sector. They hate each other (tycoon / eco), but they both don't want war. Then, Westgate Security arrives. They are ordered to arrest both Léo and "aaep", because they would done a terrible crime a few days ago. 

      You know that isn't true, because they were with you in the sector. Global Trust and the Initiative accuse each other for luring each other in a trap. Sir Langton asks you to help with the mediation progress. 

While mediating, Phinn Cyber arrives in a spectacular way by crashing into Sokow Transnational's warehouse (I want that part in the campaign!!). He says he has been investigating the case and he has some information for you...

    • This story needs refinement. The one who did the crime could also be the one who created the Virus
  • New Single Missions / World Events
    • Takin' back space: the ISS has been destroyed by unknown forces, and your mission is to build another one
