The Solar Tower Generator is the ultimate Eco Power station. Although it looks like a large group of solar panels, solar towers actually have sun-tracking reflectors that focus sunlight on a central tower.
The Solar Tower has four "fields" of reflectors that are placed like any other farm field. Although promos always show one field coming from each corner, the fields can actually be placed in any configuration as long as they fit within the construction zone.
The Solar Tower is the largest Energy Production plant, and requires more space than any other energy production building in the game. It is therefore not an option for those who want to settle a gigantic city with thousands of inhabitants, simply because it occupies too much space. It is however the best option on islands which produce goods.
