The CO2 Reservoir is the most advanced ecobalance building available to the Tycoons. It is much more effective than the Eco Monitoring Station, but like all Tycoon ecobalance buildings, it cannot raise an island's ecobalance above 0. Like the Monitoring Station, it takes up a Mine Site, which could be put to other uses. It is however 5x as efficient in space usage when compared to a Monitoring Station.
Remember that the CO2 Reservoir uses a lot of energy, so build a Nuclear Power Plant! Two Coal Power Stations would decrease the Ecobalance by 30 (which is 15% of the Reservoir production)!
