    Hmm... I came up with some stats for the Mjölnir: It has 4000 HP(You may think at it would be easily killed by an airstrike, but it'll be defended with shields). It takes 2500(Can be decreased to 500, but it will charge at 10% speed, and can be increased to 5000 energy cost and will charge at 150% speed.). When it is charged, it will take 500 energy to maintain the charge. It costs 750 in maintenance while charging and 400 when charged. It decreases the ecobalance by 175.     The Stormchaser is the fastest vehicle in the entire Anno 2070 universe. It goes faster than a Chopper, Hovercraft or Trimaran. It needs to be this ridiculously fast to chase and stop Tornados and save Oil Rigs. The ship lacks very much in all other areas, but it is extremely helpful, especially in the endgame. The blueprint is bought from Sharon Decipiat in exchange for a massive aerial warfleet(12 Choppers, 8 Hawks, 2 Firebirds). It can be build in both Tycoon and Eco Shipyards.

    This unit is available through the a.t.m. imaginary NPC Sharon Decipiat's blueprint. It is basically what it's name says: a floating fortress. It can hide a viper, a cargo liner, a Sisyphus, a Trimaran, an hovercraft, a shark, 2 freight ships, 2 commando ships, 2 raiders, or a combination of 2 of these: freight ship/commando ship/raider. The ships are hidden below the catamaran and are stealthed, unless spotted by submarines. The catamaran can also hold 2 choppers or 1 Hawk on top of itself. These vehicles aren't hidden, though.

    I redeemed my code ten seconds ago, and I have gotten this achievement. This is a record for the history books: 3,491 Geniuses in 10 seconds. And without Geothermal Power Plants. Talk about mad skills.

    Yes, I know I am late with the expansion. I was busy perfecting my old saves and finishing all the missions.

    Now, seriously. Anyone got ideas how this happened? Was my code used before? Did the geniuses automatically go into my old saves? Has Ubisoft forgot to clean up their servers? Is it a local error?

She is computed by a very widespread computer virus, which nests itself in the boot sector of a computer. She occasionaly sends packages of food and other basic necessities to those people who need it. The packages are dropped by drones who come from unknown origins, but seem to consist of extremely advanced techonologies.     This is a unit idea of me, bought from another a.t.m. imaginary NPC. Even though it is extremely slow, almost half the speed of a Firebird, it is extremely though and the depot deployment works even in enemy territory. It can also carry 2 choppers or 1 hawk, as well as 2 command ships or 1 Viper. The vehicle technically has the ability to lift 1200 metric tonnes before stalling. It has 8 mega horsepower and weighs itself 0 metric tonnes, or 500 metric tonnes when deflated. It is the most powerful vehicle in the Anno 2070 universe, able to lift any building smaller than or 50 tiles, and deploy it anywhere. This reduces speed by 5% * set of 5 tiles on the building. Overpowered doesn't begin to describe this vehicle.

    Carbon neutral Eco fortress

    After playing around 78hours of Anno, I decided it’s time to raise the bar.  So far I have been playing easy-medium level AI and things have been going well, Anno is one of those games where every time you play you get better. I’m usually an Eco player, while all my friends play tycoon. This means on a regular bases I am exposed to jests and jabs along the lines of “you dam smelly hippies” Etc. (let’s face it, Eco are just a bunch of hippies) So I think to myself, I’ll show them, buy building a self-sustaining Eco fortress!  With defenses to make the Atlantic wall look like a velvet rope! Which I have dubbed  the Carbon neutral Eco fortress…

    Well, I don't know about everyone else, but personally Thor grates on my nerves.  He is a whiny little punk who picks fights every time I am busy with Keto, or AFK getting coffee.  So, I decided to show him how much he means to me one day....

    Happy Christmas everybody! While Santa is giving presents to some eco Service Bots, I'd like to say something.

    First of all, RulerOfNothing has recently been promoted to an administrator. My congratulations to him!

    I also want to congratulate Ubisoft and Related Designs. On December 12th, Anno 2070 won in two categories of the German Developer Prize: the Best Strategy Game and Best Game Design. Well done!

    Hi everybody!

    Many of you have thought of new elements or even new add-ons for Anno 2070. The Player Ideas page shows only a bit of the creativiness of the Anno players.

    I thought it would be nice to create a new Forum post where everyone in the community helps to create the sixth Anno or a new Add-On for Anno 2070. That won't be some kind of farfetched game. It will be a game / expansion which Ubisoft and Related Designs could really use in the future.

    It has to be an add-on fully completed by fans, but I still have some rules.

    In case we'll design an Add-On:
    • The theme has to match with Anno 2070. Some aliens might be fun, but it's not very relevant.

    So I'm also doing an add-on (almost everyone do nowadays, don't they?).

    I haven't got any ideas for a title yet, so feel free to come with suggestions in the comments.

    Features:

    • A new uniqe campaign
    • New single missions
    • New global events
    • New NPCs
    • New buildings
    • New population classes
    • Variations of seeds
    • And new ways to research

    One of the big features of this add-on will be the ability to take some population classes, and use their expertise to make a new population class.

    For example, if you take Tycoon engineers and Researchers you can combine them into Genemanipulators, which can make more efficient seeds that produce food faster, but it increases the chance of diseases.

    Hi everybody! It's been a while I've written something about my current giant project, but I've been busy with it all the time.

    I'm writing a series of books, called The Children of C.O.R.E., inspired by Anno 2070. I'm still writing the first book (The Eden Former) but I'm glad to say the Dutch version is almost ready.

    So, as you may or may not remember, Tilda asked me to make a report on the tornado so we could prevent that future tornadoes. and it appears that the tornadoes were caused by dangerously low ecobalance. The report also concluded that Sokows oil production were to blame for this, and because of this, both Tilda and Leon wanted me to solve the problem Sokow, so I desided to buy up his Islands. Sadly, after buying up the first island Sokow declared war, but I have a fleet prepared in case of an unwanted war, so I managed to take out one of Sokows settlements, so after days of fighting, I managed to buy up the last share on his last Island, and I bought the Island.     Hi, and sorry for not updating in a while. First I'd start of saying that leading E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S. is much more work than I expected, so I've hired another person to do the press-related stuff, and her name is Satine Rawin. She was really happy when I told her she got the job, and I think she'll master the job well.

    The testing with Devi and Hiro worked out well, and the Geothermal Power Plants is exported worldwide now.

    But Hiro called me afterwards because the Power Plants easly emitted a strong pulse which caused tsunamies, but after some assistace he managed to get it fixed. :)

    Miracle in Danger is the Deep Ocean add-on campaign. It consists of 5 missions. You complete the first mission to unlock the three secondary missions. Then all three of those have to be completed to unlock the final mission.

    Illusions End

    This is fairly simple. Yana keeps asking you to increase your population to make room for more survivors. You ultimately need 1600 inhabitants, which I did with one city center of employees. Meanwhile, Sokow asks for various materials to get his production working again.

    Today I installed addon Deep Ocean, so as I planned I will create city of my dreams - Eco City - The Capital of Humanity.

    City will be build on biggest island with hydroelectric dam it should have aprox. 30 000 inhabitants.

    In center of island i will build Science Forum and park around it. On rest space on island Tech houses will be builded.

    This city will be 100% eco-friendly and ultramodern, connecting harmony with nature with the best technology on Earth.

    For us Anno players it's a very happy day, as you probably all know, as the expansion was released today. I went to the only electronics retailer in town looking for the expansion, but unfortunately they didn't have it, and they don't know when they will:(. But I have another reason to be happy. In Sweden, it's the day of the cinnamon bun^^. It's not a holiday or anything, it's just a tradition that started in 1999, and every 4th of October, we bake cinnamon buns. Of course I had to partake in this yummy tradition, and I was busy all afternoon grocery-shopping and baking. So to all you who don't have the expansion or if it doesn't work, feast your eyes upon these glorious pastries, at least you deserve some happiness today:P

    Hello everybody! You'll probably know it's a very special day today. It's World Animal Day! Today, the first Add-On for Anno 2070, titled Deep Ocean, comes out. Now you're able to settle the biggest nerds ever created, to produce massive amounts of energy under water, and to transmit that energy to other islands. The whole world has changed, but are there really no disadvantages of the new Geothermal Power Plant?

Due to latest developments upon ecological improvements, the sealevel started to drop and the caves are left over for use beyond imagination.     So I got a call from doctor Devi today, and he told me that he had buried the towahawk and fixed a temporary peace treaty with Hiro Ebashi-San. You see, Hiro had been requesting help from Devi to build a prototype af a geothermal energy generator, which might change the world. Devi wanted me to come to the Ebashi Trench, so I could help develop the prototype. I'm told that this is top secret, so I haven't told you everything, but I'll post as much as Devi and Hiro will allow me to post, so look out for future posts about the topic!

    Initial Findings

    Build a city center, 1 eco house or 1 tycoon house, and 12 tech houses. Get trimaran from ark.

    Buy building supplies and tools as needed from Devi. Don't forgot Increase Demand. If you don't build anything you don't need, you should only need to buy him out 2-3 times on the building supplies, once on the tools.

    Settle the big underwater island. Give it power, build 1-2 functional food chain. You get a quest that gives you 10 carbon, so just buy 10-20 oil from Devi to make the other 5. Shuttle everything around. Win.

    Whohoow! Finally the game developers have released the fifth and last World Event: The Secret of the Ebashi Trench. It takes place in a remote location with only Hiro Ebashi and Prof. Devi, however Trenchcoat does visit the sector frequently. Hiro has thought up a plan for a Geothermic Power Plant in the underwater trenches where he sets up his bases. Hiro asks S.A.A.T. to help him develop the plant and then Prof. Devi asks the player to take care of the mundane tasks of building up a workforce.

    You'll probably see the links with the Deep Ocean expansion coming October 4th. We hope this event will occupy you while you are waiting for the expansion.

    Ok so I was playing some time ago on Conquest beta Tycoon (Number of inhabitants) mission.

    I got pretty far around 1500 executives and about 13k people. I had just transitioned from coal power to nuclear power- I was running my main island with 2 nuke plants and just demolished every coal power station. I had steady maintenence unit and control module production. so I wasnt' worried about nuclear / technological disasters at all. Before my transition to Nuclear Power I was experiencing the natural "bad Ecobalance" as tycoon, where ecobalance was around -160, nothing too serious. After transitioning out of coal power ecobalance rose to around 0.
